  1. I have spent almost all of today setting this up. but i have also been for a run/walk but mostly run had coffee/tea with friends, a little bit of housework but thats not my favourite subject so I emphasise the little bit and I did get some dinner on the table for the whanau. My biggest achievement is the blog I am so computer illiterate but I've done it! I had my moments of doubt that I could!

  2. It is going to be another really beautiful day here in Te Anau. I have another day off work so probably won't get any cool work stories today. But you never know, a midwife is never really off work. I'm sitting here at the moment watching the morning breakfast show only tele, I love this programme. I watched to the undercover boss last night and really enjoyed it. That is a cool thing today, I often think I would like my boss to come and spend a day with me as it's really hard to fully understand everything that happens in a day. Being remote rural here sometimes I travel 5 hours in a day just to see 3 people, my car is so old the CD player doesn't work and the area so remote there is no radio reception so it just me and my own thoughts a lot of the time. Sometimes its nice sometimes its tiring and sometimes when there is something heavy weighing me down it just horrible. The thing I can say is the scenery is fantastic and I don't want to work anywhere else!

  5. Hello Jo

This is a reply to the email you sent me at work. You are welcome to do either/or...informal or formal. Fees are about $400 if you enrol. If you stay an informal student, I am happy to answer quick questions but I will steer you to the community for ongoing support. But to be honest, I'd do that as well if you were a formal student. There are a good number of midwives doing the course, so I am sure you won't have any problems finding someone to support and mentor you :) Why don't you see how you go and then make up your mind.

You're doing well so far...keep up the good work. You mentioned that you wrote stuff and it 'disappeared'. What you have done is write in the 'comments'. What you need to do is go to top right hand corner of your blog and click on 'new post'. then write your stuff there.

As a matter of interest, why are you interested in doing this course? :)
